During the summer we offer a program for our school age students. There is a theme for the summer (previous years have been Around the World and the Great Outdoors) which is what our morning class time revolves around. The afternoon class time focuses on academics, students will move through centers doing grade-level work in different subjects (i.e. math, language arts, science and history) along with time for reading. We do so many other fun hands-on things during the summer. In past years we have made food from different countries, pitched tents, talked to a beekeeper and had a vet bring some of her animals to teach us about conservation. Our summer program is full of fun times and it always goes by too quick!
