Our Pre-K classroom focuses on colors, shapes, numbers, letters and letter sounds and writing. We also focus on the students knowing their name, birthday, parent's names, address and phone number. By the end of the year students will know sight words, the 50 states, skip counting by 2's, 5's and 10's and many other Kindergarten skills. This classroom does not have a nap time, students instead have a rest time which is when they rest and watch a movie. Parents will need to provide a change of clothes and blanket for rest time. Please label all of these items with your child's name. Students are evaluated in October, November, January and March on what they have learn up to that point and those evaluations are sent home. Students will receive a word baggy that will be filled with words and letters that students will be evaluated on. These word baggies are to be brought back weekly to receive new words and letters.
